Princess Zev offers a quarterly newsletter to share updates about our programs, photos and news. As someone who cares strongly about early literacy and helping children to succeed, we do hope you will enjoy staying abreast of our work.
Dear Friends and Loyal Supporters,
2017 was a productive time for us, filled with big ideas and new growth. With the help of our generous donors such as yourself, we have maintained our community programs, which include Story Time, the Giving Bookshelves, and Head Start Outreach. You can read more about our programs here.
In addition to ongoing individual donations, we have received overwhelming support via our AmazonSmile fundraising campaign, which contributes a portion of your Amazon purchases to the foundation. Thank you for helping make efforts like this a success! If you have not yet signed up, you may do so here. It’s free, fast, easy and secure. And, finally, please spread the word to your family, friends and community. All those pennies sure add up quickly.
Another way you can contribute to our success is to join the Fred Meyer Community Rewards Program. You simply link your customer rewards account to our organization and then a small portion of your purchases will be donated to us. Sign up here.
New: Expansion of Head Start Outreach Program
This year we plan to triple the number of books gifted to local children. We have begun the expansion of our Head Start Outreach program. Beginning this year we will be reading and gifting books to children at two new centers: Merlin and Sams Valley. Our hearts are full of gratitude, for this is happening because of your support.
Look for us at the Elk Mountain Highland Games on Saturday, April 28. We will have a table with brochures where you can make a donation and learn more about our mission as well as a storytime area where volunteers will be reading to children during the event.
We are humbled by the outpouring of support from our community and we appreciate each of you immensely.
